For the love of life!
A not-for-profit organisation Entraide diabétique du Québec (EDQ) has, since 1994, been working to raise funds in financial support of the activities of Diabetes Québec.
Diabetes Québec’s mission is to train, inform people of services and ensure these services in the regions, in addition to defending the rights of diabetic people and promoting research.
To achieve this, we collect used clothing and other items in good condition which are then resold. All profits are handed to Diabetes Québec in support of their mission.
Entraide diabétique du Québec operates three Quebec branches; in the cities of Québec, Saint-Jérôme and Trois-Rivières and sustains some 60 direct jobs. Located in Montreal, the head office houses the management, accounting, human resources departments and carries out liaison between EDQ and Diabète Québec. In 2010, the organisation contributed to the resale and second life of over 4,000 metric tons of textile goods!
By giving a second life to items you no longer need, you contribute not only to decreasing waste, but you also help show committed support to the women, men and children who battle diabetes every day.
You can help us in three ways:
The drop-off bins
